Business Health Check
A clear look at what came in, what went out and what was left — with sensible ideas about what to look at next.
You manage the customers, the team and the day-to-day decisions. We take the financial reports you already have and explain what the figures show about profit and costs, what deserves attention and what could be worth changing. No new software. No financial jargon.
Whether you run a cleaning company, a trades business or another people-powered service, costs and cash can be hard to keep track of. We prepare a finished review for you — starting at £79, with optional deeper analysis or personal support.
Choose the parts that would help you most. These are total prices, not extras added on afterwards.
A clear look at what came in, what went out and what was left — with sensible ideas about what to look at next.
Your Health Check, plus a look at what the business owns, what it owes and what that might mean.
Your Health Check, plus a look back through money coming in and going out of your bank account.
All three views together: your profit, your financial position and what's happened in the bank.
Sometimes a report is enough. Sometimes it's better to talk things through or have someone check in regularly.
A closer look at your figures, time to talk through your questions and a practical plan tailored to your business.
A regular look at how things are going, what has changed and what deserves your attention next — with a monthly call.
Only buy what helps. The extra analyses are optional; we'll explain what is already included before suggesting another service. These are indicative launch prices.

Maybe sales are growing but profit isn't. Maybe wages, subcontractors or overheads keep rising. Or perhaps the bank balance never seems to reflect how busy you are. Tell us what's on your mind.
We'll suggest a sensible next step. It may be the £79 report, a different review or simply a conversation before you decide.

For every £100 of sales, around £5 is left after ordinary operating expenses. Even small increases in costs could make a meaningful difference.
Review prices and your three largest operating costs first. Focus on sustainable changes rather than cutting everything at once.

We’ve learned the hard way. So you don’t have to.
When you're busy looking after customers, organising staff and keeping work moving, there's not always time to unpick what the accounts are telling you.
Metrivanta was built for owners of established service businesses who want clear answers about profit, costs and cash — without having to become their own finance department.
Our approach draws on more than 50 years of combined hands-on business-management experience. We know that the figures are only part of the picture: scheduling people, pricing work, keeping customers, managing overheads and protecting cash are where many decisions get made.
We examine the information you already have, explain what it can tell us, and suggest sensible next steps. If the numbers don't answer a question, we'll say so rather than guess.
Where we fit: We are not qualified accountants and we don’t provide accountancy, audit, regulated financial, legal or specialist tax advice. We complement the work of your accountant by helping you understand business performance and explore practical management improvements. When a question needs a regulated or specialist professional, we’ll say so.
We're particularly focused on established UK service businesses — for example cleaning, maintenance, trades and other businesses with customers, staff and ongoing operating costs. You don't need to fit a particular label: our quick suitability check helps you choose a standard review or ask about something more tailored.
That's fine. We'll explain what each document is for and describe the findings in everyday language, without assuming you know the terminology.
For the basic review, an annual Profit & Loss report is the starting point. Depending on your chosen service or add-ons, we may also request a balance sheet and bank statements.
Secure uploads will be available in the production client portal. This demo does not send or store files. Please do not supply real financial documents through the demo.
Our planned standard delivery is a professional PDF accessible through your secure customer account, with an email to let you know when it's ready. A printed and bound edition posted to you would be an optional paid extra.
Yes, that's our proposed approach. After launch, a secure account would hold your order history, completed reports and any retained supporting documents, with appropriate access and deletion controls.
Yes. For the same financial period, our aim is to charge for only the additional analysis requested, after checking your existing order and whether the source records can be reused. A new financial year's review is separate.
Yes, a consultation is proposed as part of the Personal Business Review, with separate options for additional support.
No. The reports are business-management insights based on the information supplied; they are not a substitute for professional accounting, tax or legal advice.
Service details are being finalised for the pilot. We will explain the extent of any human review clearly before customers pay; we will never describe an automated report as personally reviewed when it is not.
You can begin with your annual Profit & Loss report. We'll explain where to find optional documents if you choose extra analysis, and we'll tell you when missing information limits a finding.
Have a question that doesn't fit neatly into one of our packages? Tell us what you're trying to work out. We'll help you choose a useful next step, without asking you to buy first.
Just explain it in your own words.
Personal enquiries are coming soon. The secure contact service isn't accepting messages yet.
No payment or document upload is needed to ask a question. We won't request confidential records through this form.
Choose the level of review that feels right. We’ll keep the process simple and the advice practical.
